PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY

Dean C. Anderson, JD, is a retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel and former military intelligence operative whose career has centered on discreet, high-stakes investigations and source operations in complex domestic and international environments.

His background includes undercover source operations in Latin America and Europe and interagency counter-narcotics intercept missions, coordinating with the FBI, DEA, U.S. Customs, Coast Guard, and other federal partners.

A fluent Spanish speaker with additional Portuguese and Russian capability, Dean brings cross-cultural interviewing, surveillance/countersurveillance awareness, operational security, and disciplined case documentation to matters where clients require precision, confidentiality, and results.

Dean complements field experience with advanced legal and strategic education, including a Juris Doctor from George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia School of Law, an M.A. in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College, an M.A. in National Security Affairs from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a B.A. in International Research with an emphasis on investigations.

He has also served in prosecutor-facing roles that demand meticulous standards—supporting federal narcotics prosecutions as a U.S. Attorney’s Office intern and later building and running a District Attorney’s criminal restitution division focused on victim compensation.

In addition to eight years as a criminal justice professor and multiple years designing and delivering advanced source operations training for U.S. Army programs and defense contractors, Dean translates elite tradecraft into private-sector investigative services suited for high-value litigation support, complex fraud and asset matters, and sensitive due-diligence engagements.
